From 2003 to 2014 I have been Consul Ad Honorem of Spain in Mexico and (since March 2007) President of the Mexican National Association of Consuls (North Zone).
Currently representing the Spanish AEDHE www.aedhe.es. AEDHE is the association of businessmen of the Corredor del Henares, the most important business center in the Community of Madrid and one of the most important in all of Spain, in which more than 22,000 companies carry out their activity.
From these positions and thanks to my career and professional experience as a partner and president of several companies in Mexico (The Dream Signature Design SA, Dejure SC, Pacana SA, Internuez SA, Bernesga SA, among others attend Spanish interests in Mexico and promote bilateral relations between both countries. Due to this extensive experience, I know first-hand the possibilities that exist in this country for Spanish and foreign companies.
Graduated in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London Business School (England) and the IE Business School (Spain), I have lived in different countries such as Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico and obviously Spain.
I have been a member of different business associations, such as the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, the American Chamber of Commerce (USA), the International Traders Association (USA), the National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Mexican Republic, the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives, the National Council of Exporters of the Mexican Republic, the Institute of Food Technologists (USA), among others.
Received numerous recognitions and awards, such as the Honorable Mention by the European Superior Council of Doctors Honoris Causa (2010), Honorary Master of the ESERP Business School (2010), recognition of cooperation by the Government of the Mexican state of Durango ( 1994), recognition of industrial work by the Secretariat of Commerce and Industrial Development of Mexico (1993), or the Import Leaders Trophy, by the Trade Leaders' Club (1988), recognition for support of the Chamber of Soria (2004).
Counselor of the Universidad Valle de México (since 2006) and lecturer for the Government of the State of Coahuila and the Government of the State of Durango, San Telmo International Institute, IPADE Business School, Monterrey Institute of Higher Studies, La Salle University, Ibero-American University, Autonomous University of Coahuila, Valle de México University, etc.
I have been privileged and honored to collaborate with different humanitarian causes. As a member of the Board of Trustees, donor, and advisor to the Bats'il Maya Indigenous Cooperative of Chiapas (Mexico), promoting fair trade with a profitable business model of social and solidarity economy. I am a founding member of the Sanatorio Español de la Laguna in Mexico and Parque España in Torreón. Participated as a donor in the construction of the Universidad Iberoamericana de México. As a donor and member of the Board of Trustees of the Casa del Anciano de Torreón (Mexico). Founding member and advisor to the Board of Trustees of Fundación CreeSer A.C., which cares for children with Down Syndrome. Among others.
